Arthur William Hannam was born on the 12th july 1909
and sadly passed away on november 2nd 1993. Arthur was a devoted and loving husband of Alice for 63
years and on August 9th 1990 was very proud to recieve a telegram from the queen as they celebrated
their diamond wedding. Arthur was a proud and loving dad of Alice, Elsie, Colin, Clive and Leslie,
and a loving dad in-law of Gerald, John,Maureen and Joan,and a cherished grandad of 14, a great
grandad of 28, and a great great grandad of 14.Arthur was a church warden at All Hallows parish
church in Kirkburton for over 27 years, a bellringer who taught many people over the years this art.
for many years he was a very active member of the oddfellows friendly society.Arthur spent all of
his working life as a coal miner.I was so vey proud to call him my grandad, and i have lots of
special memories of him which will stay with me forever xxxx

Today my beloved Grandad would have been celebrating his 99th Birthday. with all his loving family, Grandad i love and miss you so very very much, I hope you have a really lovely and a very happy birthday in heaven with Grandma and my mum xxxxxxxxxx
