Arthur William Hannam was born on the 12th july 1909
and sadly passed away on november 2nd 1993. Arthur was a devoted and loving husband of Alice for 63
years and on August 9th 1990 was very proud to recieve a telegram from the queen as they celebrated
their diamond wedding. Arthur was a proud and loving dad of Alice, Elsie, Colin, Clive and Leslie,
and a loving dad in-law of Gerald, John,Maureen and Joan,and a cherished grandad of 14, a great
grandad of 28, and a great great grandad of 14.Arthur was a church warden at All Hallows parish
church in Kirkburton for over 27 years, a bellringer who taught many people over the years this art.
for many years he was a very active member of the oddfellows friendly society.Arthur spent all of
his working life as a coal miner.I was so vey proud to call him my grandad, and i have lots of
special memories of him which will stay with me forever xxxx

I would like to thank you for leaving tributes and pictures for Paul he would be so shocked to see how many people come on here for him.Its a very hard time of the year for every one who has lost someonne and and each and every angel will be missed so much.There are so many lovely people on here who take time to light candles every day and the messages they leave are so kind,ive met some really caring people it so nice to know there are people out there who care.

i cant believe its been 18 yrs since god decided he needed you back but, its never got easier to think that youre gone, everybody loved you so much, i miss sitting on youre knee so you could read to me, id love to be able to do that again (you might have to sit on my knee though)
i think about you all the time, its hard as well sometimes to think youre not here, i talk to you all the time. ill tell paul about you when hes older and tell him how wonderful and caring you were.
i cant wait to see you again, im so proud that you were my great grandad, love you always and forever love donna (and paul)xxxxxx
